Following from the incredible success of opening up branches in the major centres since our inception in 2005, we have decided to follow the model of franchising. This allows us to offer learners educational assistance, personalised tutoring, and tailored extra lessons in more places. Also, the owners of the area’s can share their expertise with our other group members, and dedicate their energies to growing their area.
We are offering exclusive franchises in only 10 cities across the country, of which we have already brought franchisees onboard in Pretoria, Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Port Elizabeth, Rustenburg and East London. We thus will only be offering Grahamstown, Polokwane, Potchefstroom and Bloemfontein as franchises, and none further. We have created an immense brand value in setting up operations around the country, so much so that people now search “penguin tutoring” online more often than they do “tutoring” in South Africa.
The opportunity is suited to somebody looking at a flexible working environment. As demonstrated by Melenie and Karen who run Johannesburg from Port Elizabeth, it is possible to manage a branch remotely, as you only need to be present to conduct the interviewing of tutors. We have an online system that facilitates all tutor and client management and administration, so that you can spend your time focussing on the important matters - personalising tutors for your clients.
